When people hear of violence in Brazil, they tend to automatically think of the larger cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Recently, however, there has been an increase in violence in Santa Catarina, in the south of Brazil.
Santa Catarina is where Jeff and I went on a mission trip in 2003 and partnered with a Brazilian Evangelical Free Church and where we received our calling from God to Brazil as missionaries.

Please be in prayer for our brothers- and sisters-in-Christ from Santa Catarina and pray they have many opportunities in the midst of this violence to share the gospel with the lost.
